This Spring Has Been A Full And Fruitful Season For Our Seminary Ministry
Over the past few months, God has allowed us to assist additional churches in developing local training institutes within their own ministries. While technology can certainly be misused, we are thankful for the opportunity to use it for the furtherance of the gospel and the strengthening of local churches.
In addition to our ongoing classes, we had the opportunity to travel to Nashville, Tennessee, where we hosted a one-day teaching seminar with Dr. Dell Johnson and Dr. Tom Wallace. Dr. Johnson, one of my former seminary professors, taught extensively on the History of Fundamentalism—a subject he has studied and written about for many years. This has helped lay the groundwork for a new course we are planning to offer this fall. Dr. Wallace also contributed greatly to the day, bringing both insight and perspective from his many years of faithful service to the Lord.
Here in Dover, we recently completed a three-day seminary module on Philosophy of Ministry and Ethics. It was an especially encouraging week, as we had our highest number of enrolled-for-credit students since beginning the seminary in this location. While we have been thankful for those who audit classes, it was a blessing to see a strong group of pastors and ministry workers fully engaged in the coursework. Their diligence added depth to the class and demonstrated a growing desire for serious biblical training. We are planning to make this course available more broadly in the near future.
We are also grateful for Dr. S. M. Davis allowing us to use some of his material in developing courses focused on family relationships. One course, Restoring Relationships, is already completed and available online. We are currently working toward releasing a second course, Biblical Parenting, by the end of the summer. Dr. Davis brings over forty years of pastoral and counseling experience, and we believe these resources will be a great help to families and churches alike. In addition, a full online course on the Book of Hebrews, which I had the privilege of teaching, is now completed and available.
Looking ahead, we are eagerly anticipating our upcoming Graduation Week and Bible Conference, scheduled for May 3– 6. Dr. David Sorensen will be with us throughout the week, preaching and teaching. Our Seminary Graduation will take place on Tuesday evening, May 5, at 7:00 PM as part of the conference service. Earlier that afternoon, Dr. Sorensen will also teach two sessions on the History of Fundamentalism. We would be honored to have you join us for any part of the week, especially as we celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates. Following the Tuesday evening service, we will enjoy a time of fellowship with pie and ice cream for all who attend.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support of this ministry. It is a privilege to labor together in training men and women for faithful service to Christ and His church. Please continue to pray that the Lord would raise up more laborers and use this ministry to strengthen local churches.

It was a great blessing to connect with Dr. Johnson and Dr. Wallace. They both did a fantastic job. A few of the younger men at the fellowship wanted to get in on the picture! They thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Dr. Beal and Dr. Edwards did a phenomenal job teaching the module.
When we are at a church on their outreach day, we greatly enjoy jumping in and helping. Recently, we evangelized in inner-city Trenton, NJ, with the Walker family and members of Trenton Baptist Church.
