Ministry-Focused Educational Resources by Independent Baptist Seminary

Another important facet of the Seminary’s outreach is assisting local churches with the development and operation of their Bible institutes. This is accomplished through the Capitol Baptist Bible Institute division. Churches can benefit from this ministry in several ways:
• Individual Course Enrollment: Students—whether individuals or part of a church group—may enroll directly in Seminary courses at the regular tuition rate. In this format, coursework and grading are handled by Independent Baptist Seminary. This option is ideal for those seeking formal credit or personal study under Seminary oversight.
• USB Course Library: A USB drive containing pre-recorded video lectures is available for a one-time gift or love offering. This is an excellent resource for churches that wish to offer the course to multiple students in a classroom setting.
• Live Zoom Classes: Each fall and spring, churches may enroll their Bible institute students in our live classes via Zoom. These are offered on Tuesdays (primarily undergraduate level) and Thursdays (graduate level). The cost is $50 per student, per class. However, if two or more students from the same church enroll, the cost is reduced to $25 per student. Grading and oversight are provided by the pastor or institute director at the local church. Alternatively, students may enroll individually through the Seminary. In this case, undergraduate Zoom courses are $80 per credit hour, and graduate Zoom courses are $100 per credit hour. Most institute level classes are two credit hours, and graduate-level classes are three credit hours. All individually enrolled students will receive formal grading and academic oversight directly from Independent Baptist Seminary.
• On-Site Seminars or Modules: Dr. Damron is available to conduct short seminars on a variety of biblical or theological subjects at local churches. Modules are held in various locations upon request from the local church. Two of these modules are held each year at Capitol Baptist Church, and anyone is welcome to attend. Our next module is “Rightly Dividing the Sound,” taught by Alan Ives and John Randal, and will be held September 9-11 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
We pray that through these various educational tools, we can continue to strengthen churches and train Christian workers worldwide. Your support allows us to accomplish all of this. Thank you, and may God richly bless you and your ministry.
In His Service,
Steve Damron

It was a privilege to assist Pastor Tyrone Walker at the inaugural service of Trenton Baptist Church. As we made follow-up visits on Saturday, the need for a Bible-preaching church in Trenton, NJ, became even more evident!
We had great meetings throughout our Midwest tour. I was blessed to preach on several topics, including a special KJV Bible Sunday in Holland, MI.
The module with Dr. Carter was a great success. We will soon have the class materials ready for our online students.
When we’re on the road, our car becomes our office. Becky snapped this photo of my “cubicle” while we were parked in traffic on I80. :)
